HAKor
(Hari Anti Korupsi)

Tanggal 9 Desember merupakan Hari Anti Korupsi sedunia yang ditandai dengan penandatanganan United Nation Againts Corruption (UNCAC) pada tahun 2003. Perjanjian ini menunjukkan komitmen dunia untuk memperkuat perlawanan terhadap korupsi, ada 134 negara yang ikut serta dalam perjanjian ini termasuk Indonesia.

Enam tahun telah berlalu semenjak penandatanganan UNCAC tersebut dan Indonesia tetap berusaha untuk melawan korupsi yang makin marak terungkap sehingga dapat keluar dari peringkat 10 besar Negara terkorup di dunia.

Bila dilihat 20 tahun terakhir banyak kasus korupsi yang menjadi sorotan masyarakat, antara lain kasus Bantuan Likuiditas Bank Indonesai atau yang kita kenal dengan kasus BLBI I dan BLBI II, sekarang yang sedang menjadi sorotan adalah kasus Bank Century yang menyedot uang Negara sebesar Rp.6,7 Triliun dan menyeret dua nama pejabat tinggi Negara yaitu Boediono sebagai Wakil Presider RI dan Sri Mulyani sebagai Mentri Keuangan Nagera.

9 desember 2009 mahasiswa dan aliansi-aliansi Anti Korupsi berkumpul dikawasan bundaran HI untuk memperingati Hari Anti Korupsi sedunia. Mereka melakuakan hal tersebut untuk menagih komitmen pemerintah terhadap penegakan hukum dalam kasus korupsi. Adapun poin-poin tuntutan dari mahasiswa dan aliansi-aliansi tersebut adalah :

  1. Meminta Presiden RI untuk membuktikan komitmennya terhadap penegakan hukum dalam kasus korupsi.
  2. Meminta pemerintah agar mengusut kasus-kasus korupsi dan secara transparan dan tuntas serta menyeret pelaku yang terkait tanpa pandang bulu dengan hukuman yang seberat-baratnya.
  3. Mensosialisasiakan pendidikan anti korupsi sebagai upaya pencegahan tindakan korupsi disemua tingkat dan lapisan masyarakat.
